Senior Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Develops and executes sophisticated reporting, analytics, and AI-driven solutions to inform fundraising strategies.

• Works in close collaboration with the Membership Acquisition and Strategy teams to provide data-informed and machine-assisted insights.

• Evaluates complex situations, considers alternatives, and creates and implements processes that enhance program effectiveness.

• Analyzes key data and presents findings to leadership, using the appropriate tools for each request or project.

• Designs and maintains information systems that cater to program requirements.

• Offers guidance and recommendations pertinent to the functional area.

• Holds expert knowledge of systems and resources, leveraging this expertise to coordinate organizational support and communications.

• Assumes additional responsibilities, which include designing and facilitating training programs, managing documentation, and improving resources.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline and 6 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Proficiency in designing and generating reports, as well as analyzing and interpreting data.

• Experience collaborating with teams across the organization.

• Familiarity with accounting, finance, and direct marketing programs.

• Skill in manipulating relational data.

• Proficient in SQL and data warehousing tools.

• Knowledge of OLTP and dimensional data models.

• Advanced skills in Excel, including the use of macros and pivot tables.

• Experience with statistical software packages (such as SAS, Python, R, or similar) and in building predictive models.

• Expertise in integrating AI tools, including machine-learning platforms, natural language processing tools, or automation frameworks into analytical workflows to enhance efficiency, insight generation, and decision-making.
