Intercompany Lead Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary.

📋 Description

• Manage the execution of the monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles for intercompany closing.

• Ensure precise financial reporting through careful data consolidation, timely reconciliation, and proactive resolution of system-level edit checks and consolidation issues.

• Create and implement standardized intercompany frameworks for newly acquired entities.

• Transition legacy processes into the GE Vernova ecosystem, guaranteeing complete alignment with global standards for invoice processing, reconciliation, and settlement.

• Act as the expert on intercompany discrepancies.

• Proactively analyze and resolve inconsistencies within current affiliates, receivables, payables, and sales eliminations.

• Conduct invoice-level reconciliations to uphold ledger integrity.

• Perform invoice-level reconciliations between DT/DF and counterparties (including reviews on externals, which must be reported as intercompany).

• Own the entire intercompany settlement lifecycle.

• Develop schedules, define scopes, identify bottlenecks, and ensure successful and timely execution of settlements.

• Serve as a catalyst for ongoing improvement.

• Critically assess existing system configurations and manual workflows, promoting the shift to automated, streamlined solutions that enhance efficiency and data quality.

• Maintain collaborative relationships with Business Line Leaders, Global Process Leaders (GPL), external/internal auditors, and other departments.

• Provide clear, data-driven financial insights to ensure transparency across all organizational levels.

• Challenge process and system deficiencies, promoting simplification and continuous improvement.

• Oversee system configurations, streamlining, and simplifying manual processes.

• BA or BS in finance/accounting (or a related field) from an accredited institution.

• Significant experience in a controllership/accounting position.

• Strong analytical and reporting capabilities (advanced Excel proficiency).
