Senior SAP MM Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete SAP MM / SAP S/4HANA functional delivery for procurement, inventory management, and logistics operations, encompassing workshops, blueprinting, configuration, testing, and support during go-live.

• Work closely with business stakeholders to convert requirements into SAP MM solutions that adhere to best practices and compliance standards.

• Manage the integration points with FI/CO to guarantee precise postings, reconciliations, and the integrity of financial data.

• Develop, review, and uphold Functional Specifications (FS) for enhancements, interfaces, conversions, and reports with well-defined acceptance criteria.

• Establish and implement testing strategies across unit, integration, and user acceptance testing; create test plans and scripts; supervise defects and validations with business users.

• Direct data migration and cutover processes, including data mapping, quality assessments, rollback planning, and stabilization post-go-live.

• Provide training for end-users and create user manuals; offer continuous post-implementation support and facilitate knowledge transfer.

• Guide team members, uphold project governance, and ensure the quality of delivery, risk management, and compliance with security standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in SAP MM functional consulting.

• Extensive hands-on experience with SAP MM and SAP S/4HANA.

• In-depth understanding of Procurement, Inventory Management, and Logistics business processes.

• Proven experience with FI/CO integration.

• Proficient in preparing Functional Specifications (FS).

• Familiarity with testing, UAT, and providing support to business users.

• Proficiency in the Italian language - B2+.
