Senior SAP FICO Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete design, configuration, and testing processes for SAP FI-FM, encompassing commitment management, budget structures, derivation rules, and integration with the General Ledger.

• Spearhead the lifecycle delivery for SAP FI-AA, which includes asset classes, depreciation areas, parallel valuation, CIP settlements, and year-end closing procedures.

• Provide SAP FICO functionalities across FI-GL, FI-AP, FI-AR, Bank Ledger, and CO-OM.

• Coordinate cross-module integrations with MM, SD, PS, and PM.

• Create functional specifications, configuration rationales, test scripts, and data migration plans.

• Collaborate with ABAP developers to produce custom reports, interfaces, enhancements, and workflow automations utilizing BAPIs, BADIs, and user exits.

• Lead cutover initiatives, manage historical balance migrations, and deliver post-go-live hypercare assistance.

• Facilitate stakeholder engagement through requirement workshops, gap analyses, and best-practice recommendations.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8–12+ years of professional experience.

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 8+ years of practical experience in SAP FICO implementation and support.

• At least 2 full lifecycle implementations with significant involvement in Funds Management and Asset Accounting.

• Proficient in S/4HANA Finance, including Universal Journal architecture, New Asset Accounting, and Fiori applications.

• Strong understanding of Public Sector Management (PSM-FM) or commercial cash/budget management frameworks.

• Experience in coordinating integration across SAP MM, PS, and PM modules.

• Exceptional analytical, stakeholder management, and bilingual technical-to-business communication abilities.

• Preferred: SAP Certified Application Associate or Professional in SAP S/4HANA for Financial Accounting.

• Preferred: Professional accounting credentials (CA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent).

• Preferred: Familiarity with automated cutover tools, LTMC/Migration Cockpit, and central finance setups.
