Senior SAP FI, Localization Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Direct the collection of financial requirements and map AS-IS / TO-BE processes for the localization in Luxembourg.

• Engage in discussions with clients to establish the chart of accounts along with localization and taxation needs.

• Set up and tailor SAP S/4HANA financial modules, including FI-GL, FI-AP, FI-AR, FI-AA, and Tax.

• Execute and verify statutory reports and files relevant to Luxembourg localization.

• Develop functional specifications for RICEFW developments, interfaces, and tax reporting.

• Perform unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) in collaboration with key users.

• Offer advanced Level 3 support throughout the go-live and post-implementation stages.

• Work with global IT and business teams to ensure coherence with enterprise architecture.

• Provide an updated resume in Word format that outlines SAP FI and S/4HANA Finance experience, implementation projects, configurations, tax and accounting processes, and responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of robust experience in SAP FI projects.

• Involvement in at least one SAP implementation project that includes Luxembourg localization.

• Proven understanding of Luxembourg localization along with its tax and accounting requirements.

• Strong proficiency in SAP FI-GL (General Ledger).

• Strong proficiency in SAP FI-AP (Accounts Payable).

• Strong proficiency in SAP FI-AR (Accounts Receivable).

• Strong proficiency in SAP FI-AA (Asset Accounting).

• Experience in migration or native implementation projects related to S/4HANA Finance.

• Fluent in English — mandatory, with excellent verbal and written communication skills for negotiations and facilitating workshops.

• Open to professionals of any nationality; residing in Brazil is not a requirement.

• Official SAP FI / S/4HANA Finance certification is preferred.

• Familiarity with integration involving SAP SD, MM, and CO is preferred.

• Experience in multi-country projects is preferred.

• Experience in global SSC (Shared Services Center) environments is preferred.

• Knowledge of French or German is preferred; proficiency level not specified.

• Analytical ability to address complex issues in high-pressure environments.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.

• Initiative and leadership in technical workstreams.
