This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create high-quality Spanish translations for website content, which includes web pages, PDFs, video captions/subtitles, and learning modules, utilizing a translation management platform.
• Continuously enhance and maintain a glossary of terms to ensure consistent terminology and translation quality.
• Deliver live simultaneous Spanish interpretation for webinars and webcasts throughout the year.
• Translate and review Spanish-language content for email campaigns, social media, customer service responses, and knowledge bases.
• Collaborate with the UX research team for usability testing, interviews, and surveys involving Spanish-speaking users.
• Assess translated content for compliance with plain-language and accessibility standards.
• Work alongside content strategists, designers, and engineers to accurately publish translated materials on schedule.
• Carry out additional duties as required.
• Native or professional-level fluency in both Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
• Proven experience in translation and interpretation.
• Previous experience providing live/simultaneous interpretation for webinars, conferences, or public events.
• Exceptional writing skills with a keen focus on accuracy, tone, and cultural nuances.
• Bachelor's degree in translation, linguistics, communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a favorable Public Trust determination in support of a federal government contract.
• All applicants must reside in and be authorized to work in the United States.
• Professional translation or interpretation certification is preferred, such as ATA certification or its equivalent.
• Experience with translation management systems, such as Lingotek or similar, is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with plain-language and accessibility standards is advantageous.
• Experience translating content for a government or public-sector client is a plus.
