Senior SAP FI Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Act as the functional subject-matter expert for the design and advancement of the SAP connector.

• Assist in the implementation of the connector for enterprise clients.

• Map the source and destination of financial and tax data throughout the FI cycle, including MM and SD data.

• Define the data retrieved from SAP by the connector and outline how tax assessment, credit, and settlement results should be recorded.

• Establish the accounting treatment for new taxes, encompassing accounts, posting keys, and automatic account determination.

• Design the implications on the payment cycle when tax remittance is separated from supplier payment.

• Draft functional specifications in accordance with ROIT standards.

• Facilitate workshops with clients’ finance, accounting, and IT teams.

• Support configuration, parameterization, and integrated testing efforts.

• Identify discrepancies through root cause analysis and serve as the functional escalation point during go-live phases.

• Contribute field insights to the product roadmap.

• Collaborate closely with ROIT’s engineering and product teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive expertise in FI and the FI-GL, FI-AP, and FI-AR financial cycles.

• Proficient in the complete accounts payable cycle, including the payment program (F110), payment methods, and bank files.

• Familiarity with automatic account determination and MM-FI (OBYC) and SD-FI (VKOA) integration.

• Experience in financial closing and account reconciliation processes.

• Comprehension of how MM and SD data integrates into FI.

• Demonstrated experience with ECC 6.0 and S/4HANA (either on-premise or Private Cloud), including participation in at least two full implementation cycles.

• Understanding of the S/4HANA extensibility model.

• Previous involvement in SAP integration projects with external systems, particularly in a functional capacity.

• Capability to write executable functional specifications.

• Skill in reading logs and performing functional debugging without requiring coding.

• Willingness to travel occasionally to client locations.
