Senior SAP Consultant – HCM, SF, FI/CO, Logistic

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Configure and implement SAP modules for clients, offering functional expertise, hands-on delivery, customization, guidance, presentations, and training.

• Assess business requirements and convert them into SAP ERP configuration, reports, and specifications.

• Act as the primary client contact for troubleshooting related modules.

• Investigate, analyze, and resolve software issues while aligning with client business requirements, processes, and goals.

• Create product modifications to meet client specifications.

• Define system strategies, develop requirements, design and prototype solutions, test, train, establish support procedures, and implement business solutions.

• Serve as the technical lead and functional project manager for company-wide SAP projects when necessary.

• Engage in SAP implementation projects.

• Write ABAP query reports and dialog programs, and/or collaborate with ABAP developers.

• Manage customer master data and understand its implications for business and master data management policy.

• Provide ongoing project-status updates and constructive suggestions.

• Deliver exceptional customer service and cultivate long-term business relationships.

• Identify complex client challenges using technical and industry expertise.

• Train and mentor junior team members.

• Analyze customization requests and recommend suitable solutions.

• Consult with ABAP developers or solution designers regarding implementation designs.

• Document changes in systems and new component designs.

• Test newly added functionalities to eliminate errors in production systems.

• Present proposed solutions to clients.

• Provide senior-level support for new business initiatives and transitions across SAP modules.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience as an SAP consultant in one or more modules: HCM, SF, FI/CO, or Logistics.

• Understanding of the business environment, IT processes, organizational structures, and the implications of changes.

• Solid grasp of IT architecture.

• Proficient in a specific SAP module, customization, and SAP report generation.

• Capability to read ABAP code and debug system functionality.

• Ability to provide technical consultation to system users.

• Experience in gathering functional/technical requirements from clients, analyzing and designing new solutions, testing, and participating in rollout phases.

• Strong interpersonal, consulting, and problem-solving abilities.

• Capable of working independently on assigned tasks.

• Strong customer focus, initiative, enthusiasm, and results-driven attitude.

• Ability to complete tasks under pressure and within deadlines.

• Willingness to travel.

• Proficiency in English and German at a minimum B2 level, required for all modules except HCM.

• Extensive experience and knowledge of SAP processes.

• Strong hands-on configuration skills with SAP ERP and cross-functional expertise.

• In-depth experience and knowledge of report writer and report painter.

• Significant experience and understanding of the SAP Implementation ASAP Methodology.
