Senior SAP Basis Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Provide guidance to customers and team members as a technical specialist

• Evaluate requirements thoroughly

• Create data and AI systems and solutions utilizing the SAP portfolio

• Manage innovative on-premises and cloud system environments

• Maintain system environments in a current state

• Ensure seamless operations

• Assume the role of a consultant for migration, upgrade, and implementation initiatives

• Assist with monitoring and support functions

• Act as an expert point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive professional experience in the SAP Basis environment

• Strong expertise in Linux and Windows Server operating systems

• Familiarity with databases, networking, and optimization associated with SAP systems

• Knowledge and hands-on experience with ITIL, especially in Incident, Change, and Problem Management

• Experience with SAP on hyperscalers, particularly Azure, or with RISE with SAP is advantageous

• SAP certifications, such as HANA administration or S/4HANA conversion, are appreciated but not mandatory

• Azure certifications are valued but not required

• Demonstrated initiative and a proactive mindset

• Exceptional communication abilities

• Proficient in German at C-level fluency

• Good command of English
