This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take full ownership of the engineering outcomes for Guided Selling, overseeing everything from technical design to release, adoption, observability, and iteration.
• Collaborate with Product, Customer Success, Sales, and customers as necessary to identify workflow challenges, validate trade-offs, and relate engineering decisions to customer adoption and value.
• Leverage AI tools as a fundamental engineering enhancer for tasks such as design, implementation, testing, debugging, documentation, and communication with stakeholders.
• Proactively identify risks related to platform, data, permissions, feature flags, and integrations, particularly where Salesforce behavior varies among customer organizations.
• Enhance the team's execution quality by improving review standards, documenting reusable patterns, assisting colleagues, and advocating for superior engineering practices.
• Assist in transforming Guided Selling from simple workflow/sequencing software into a more intelligent execution layer driven by customer data, conversation signals, and measurable results.
• Over 5 years of substantial hands-on software engineering experience, with significant involvement in Salesforce product development.
• In-depth understanding of Apex, data modeling, permissions, limits, and packaging constraints, with an emphasis on performance at scale and overall system impact.
• Experience with Salesforce ISV, managed packages, or AppExchange review processes.
• Strong judgment in product engineering, capable of reasoning from customer value, usage, reliability, and long-term sustainability.
• Proven ability to function autonomously in ambiguous settings: breaking down complex tasks, making trade-offs, and driving outcomes to completion.
• Hands-on experience utilizing AI tools to enhance engineering productivity, testing, debugging, analysis, and documentation in real-world engineering contexts.
• Strong systems thinking skills across integrated platforms, data flows, customer configurations, permissions, feature flags, and the downstream operational impact.
• Experience in frontend/product development with LWC and/or modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.
