This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.
• Define and assess technical designs for custom development, integrations, and data migrations, ensuring compliance with best practices for security, performance, and long-term sustainability.
• Act as a technical thought leader by continuously exploring new Salesforce features, including Salesforce Flow, Agentforce, and Einstein AI, and proactively suggesting adoption strategies that provide measurable business value.
• Design, construct, and govern integrations between Salesforce and adjacent systems utilizing Workato, and lead complex multi-quarter initiatives from start to finish, taking ownership of solution architecture, scoping, risk evaluation, and communication regarding timelines and tradeoffs.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders across Engineering, Sales, Legal, and Operations to gather requirements, co-design solutions, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences throughout the project lifecycle.
• Mentor and actively develop fellow Salesforce engineers on the team, offering architectural guidance, reviewing design choices, sharing expertise through collaboration and documentation, and supporting the team's long-term growth and career advancement.
• Set the strategic direction for optimizing and evolving Salesforce, Ironclad, and related Revenue systems, ensuring that solutions scale with the business and significantly enhance merchant and revenue organization experiences.
• Oversee the complete architecture and governance of CPQ solutions and the cross-system contract lifecycle strategy, aligning CLM, CRM, and data platforms while establishing standards for pricing data models, contract alignment, and downstream reporting to ensure accuracy, scalability, auditability, and compliance.
• BA/BS or equivalent 4-year degree or comparable experience.
• Expert-level proficiency in Salesforce.com (5+ years in complex enterprise organizations).
• 4+ years of experience in development using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce Flow.
• 2+ years of experience in building and maintaining integrations with Workato or similar iPaaS tools, including recipe design, error management, and documentation.
• Proficient with Salesforce DevOps tools, such as Gearset or similar CI/CD platforms and Salesforce DX / Git-based source control workflows.
• Familiarity with Salesforce Agentforce and Einstein AI capabilities and their applications in Revenue workflows.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to translate complex technical work into clear updates for business stakeholders and leadership.
• Capacity to build trust and strong working relationships across Engineering, Finance, Legal, and Revenue teams.
• Experience with Clay or similar data enrichment and GTM workflow automation platforms (highly preferred, not required).
• Core Pardot experience.
• Expert-level proficiency in Salesforce CPQ (5+ years).
• 2+ years of experience configuring Ironclad or comparable CLM tools; Ironclad CLM Core Administration badge or equivalent CLM certification.
• Salesforce Advanced Administrator, Salesforce Platform Developer I and II, and/or Salesforce CPQ Specialist certifications.
