This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania, +1 more state.
• Reporting to the designated Manager, the Architect II – Solutions is tasked with designing and implementing IT solutions within the Salesforce / Experience Cloud ecosystem that cater to the GPO business team.
• Provides both technical leadership and architectural direction for the Salesforce / Experience Cloud platform.
• Develops and documents future-state architectures that tackle current business challenges while anticipating the future needs of the GPO business team.
• Assesses the current Salesforce environment to identify, prioritize, and address technical debt.
• Creates feasibility analyses, business case justifications, and architectural alternatives.
• Collaborates closely with the GPO business team and other internal stakeholders.
• Translates intricate business requirements into clearly defined system and platform solutions.
• Engages with external service providers, Salesforce consultants, and vendors.
• Facilitates and contributes to the development and upkeep of CRM architecture models, standards, patterns, and best practices.
• Offers direction, mentorship, and technical support to developers and team members.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least ten (10) years of relevant and progressively responsible experience in IT architecture design and implementation.
• Extensive hands-on experience with the Salesforce platform, particularly Service Cloud and Experience Cloud.
• Experience in a CRM Delivery team or a similar technology organization focused on product alignment is highly preferred.
• Previous experience supporting GPO, healthcare, or pharmaceutical distribution business functions is advantageous.
• Preferred Certifications: Salesforce Application Architect, System Architect, Platform Developer II, or equivalent qualifications.
• In-depth knowledge of the Salesforce platform, especially Service Cloud and Experience Cloud.
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate and address technical debt in existing applications.
• Capability to design scalable future-state solutions that are well-documented and aligned with both business objectives and platform best practices.
• Strong grasp of business requirements analysis and the ability to create architectural specifications that guide application design and development.
