Senior Salesforce Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete lifecycle of IT projects, encompassing planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.

• Create and develop tailored Salesforce solutions utilizing Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and OmniScripts.

• Integrate Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and various integration tools.

• Design, execute, and verify data migrations, transformations, and loads from legacy systems into Salesforce.

• Develop and implement intricate sharing models through both declarative and programmatic techniques.

• Formulate and execute test plans that ensure code coverage, application behavior, scalability, environment independence, and security.

• Assist QA in validating the solutions provided.

• Own deployment processes across environments utilizing CI/CD tools.

• Adhere to and promote Salesforce best practices, coding standards, and security protocols.

• Provide rough order of magnitude (ROM) estimations and carry out technical investigations (spikes).

• Draft technical documentation, including solution designs, technical stories and epics, process diagrams, and UAT plans.

• Engage and collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders regarding project status, technical challenges, and proposed solutions.

• Work alongside the marketing team to develop thought-leadership content, webinars, and participate in industry events.

• Lead technical implementations within a multidisciplinary Salesforce team and present solutions directly to client stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Salesforce Developer.

• Proficient in Apex, including design patterns, trigger frameworks, bulk and asynchronous processing, integration patterns, and custom REST/SOAP endpoints.

• Advanced knowledge of SOQL/SOSL.

• Strong skills in Lightning Web Components, focusing on rendering performance, state management, and minimizing wire adapter calls.

• Experience in source-driven development utilizing Git branching strategies, pull requests, merge conflict resolution, and Salesforce CLI (SFDX) deployments across multiple environments.

• Solid understanding of sharing rules, role hierarchy, permission sets, permission set groups, and CRUD/FLS enforcement in both Apex and LWC.

• Expertise in Salesforce Flows and the ability to discern when to prefer configuration over code.

• Capability to independently deliver complex user stories and multi-system data flows.

• Skill in conducting code reviews, upholding coding standards, and mentoring junior and mid-level developers.

• Active Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I (PDI), along with at least three additional active Salesforce certifications.

• Proficient in both oral and written English and Spanish.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban.

• Willingness to learn new technologies and tools.
