
Senior Salesforce Business Systems Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Act as the main administrator for the Salesforce platform across Sales, Sales Operations, Customer Service, and various other business functions.
• Oversee user onboarding, offboarding, role assignments, permission sets, and access requests.
• Ensure the quality, security, governance, and change-management standards of Salesforce data are maintained.
• Configure and manage Salesforce user settings, page layouts, fields and objects, validation rules, approval processes, flows, and record types.
• Diagnose user issues and collaborate with technical resources for resolution.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to pinpoint operational challenges and opportunities for process enhancement.
• Lead discovery sessions, workshops, and meetings to gather requirements.
• Document existing and future processes, requirements, process flows, use cases, functional specifications, and user stories.
• Assess solution alternatives and propose scalable Salesforce solutions.
• Serve as a liaison between business users and Salesforce development teams from enhancement intake to deployment.
• Organize projects, requirements reviews, solution design, testing, deployment planning, and UAT.
• Relay project status, risks, dependencies, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
• Promote user adoption through training, documentation, and change management initiatives.
• Assist in CRM roadmap planning, prioritization, and ongoing process improvement.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Operations, or a related field, with 8 years of relevant experience; or 6 years with a Master's degree; or a PhD with 3 years of experience; or equivalent experience.
• Experience in supporting Salesforce CRM environments.
• Background in business systems analysis, CRM administration, business process improvement, or similar roles.
• Proven experience in gathering business requirements and converting them into functional system solutions.
• Ability to work across various functions, including Sales, Sales Operations, Customer Service, IT, and business stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce administration and an understanding of CRM best practices.
• Excellent skills in business process analysis and requirements gathering.
• Capability to translate business needs into functional requirements and solution proposals.
• Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills.
• Experience in coordinating efforts among business teams, developers, and external implementation partners.
• Exceptional project management and organizational abilities.
• Proficient in documenting process flows, business requirements, use cases, and user stories.
• Salesforce Administrator Certification is highly preferred.
• Experience in semiconductor, manufacturing, technology, or complex B2B environments is preferred.
