Senior Salesforce Administrator

📋 Description

• Manage the daily operations of Salesforce, including user administration, roles/profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, custom objects, page layouts, custom/formula fields, and validation rules.

• Design, create, and sustain Salesforce Flows and other automation for Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Customer Success.

• Collaborate and share knowledge with the current Salesforce administrator, offering guidance and conducting code/configuration reviews.

• Oversee the Salesforce release lifecycle, which encompasses sandbox environments, testing, and the secure deployment of changes to production.

• Take responsibility for the security model alongside the security team, auditing permissions, sharing rules, and data access.

• Administer the wider Go-to-Market technology stack and Salesforce integrations, which include mass updates, reporting, and troubleshooting.

• Assist in defining AI strategy within the technology stack and identify opportunities for process automation.

• Collect and analyze stakeholder requirements to implement Salesforce-native solutions.

• Create and maintain both standardized and ad-hoc reports and dashboards; train users on self-service reporting.

• Oversee data quality, leading deduplication, cleanup, and enrichment initiatives.

• Assess and manage Salesforce integrations with marketing automation, CPQ, and data enrichment tools.

• Stay updated on Salesforce releases and recommend valuable feature adoption.

• Document configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps comprehensively.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates must possess authorization to work in the US or Canada.

• Familiarity with the Salesforce Lightning environment, preferably as a power user.

• Over 5 years of experience as a Salesforce administrator.

• Salesforce Administrator Certification is mandatory.

• Advanced Administrator or Platform App Builder certification is highly preferred.

• Practical expertise in building Salesforce Flows and other declarative automation.

• Comprehensive understanding of the Salesforce data model, security architecture, and sharing rules.

• Experience in managing sandboxes, change sets, or DevOps tools for release management.

• Proven history of translating business requirements into scalable, maintainable Salesforce solutions.

• Experience with integrations/middleware that connect Salesforce to other platforms.

• Strong skills in reporting and dashboard creation, with the ability to train others.

• Excellent communication skills, with experience in presenting to non-technical stakeholders.

• Self-driven and adept at prioritizing multiple concurrent requests in a dynamic environment.

• A genuine curiosity about new technologies and a commitment to enhancing system efficiency.

• A background or interest in clean energy or climate tech is preferred.
