This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Spearhead pre-sales technical initiatives across designated territories, encompassing discovery, solution architecture, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept execution.
• Provide technical presentations and product demonstrations to enterprise technical evaluators, architects, and senior leadership teams.
• Design Kasten solutions tailored to customer needs and align with enterprise security and compliance standards.
• Plan, oversee, and drive proofs of concept to technical completion within tight deadlines.
• Convert customer business goals into Kubernetes data protection specifications and solution blueprints.
• Facilitate lead generation through participation in industry events, webinars, and technical briefings.
• Collaborate with Red Hat, AWS, and other ecosystem partners to enhance co-selling opportunities.
• Partner with regional channel partners and system integrators for partner-led technical assessments.
• Deliver structured product feedback to Kasten Product Management based on field insights and customer needs.
• Manage the technical sales process from start to finish and take responsibility for achieving the technical win.
• Travel within the US West/Central regions and occasionally internationally.
• Over 7 years of pre-sales or solutions engineering experience in enterprise software, demonstrating success in the North American enterprise landscape.
• More than 5 years of practical experience with Kubernetes-based products in production or evaluation settings, including Red Hat OpenShift, AWS EKS, or similar platforms.
• Proficient understanding of Kubernetes data protection, backup and recovery methodologies, and cloud-native storage infrastructures.
• Familiarity with enterprise procurement processes and channel dynamics.
• Capability to translate intricate technical functionalities into business value for technical evaluators and senior enterprise stakeholders.
• Highly energetic and resourceful, with a proactive, results-oriented mindset and a strong commitment to achieving outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to groups of varying sizes and seniority levels.
• Strong preference for candidates located in the PST time zone.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% within the US West/Central regions and occasionally abroad.
