Senior Sales Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Veeam's offerings while collaborating closely with our sales team.

• Facilitate technical presales meetings and presentations, both in-person and virtually.

• Comprehend customers' technical and strategic challenges, showcasing how Veeam can act as a catalyst for achieving their objectives.

• Assist customers with product assessments and provide knowledge transfer during the presales stage.

• Work in partnership with customers and stakeholders to convert business and customer requirements into technical solutions, articulating them effectively.

• Develop and implement Proofs of Concept in collaboration with our partners and clients.

• Engage in and deliver events, webinars, and other initiatives to generate leads and present our products to the market.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience working with enterprise clients on enterprise-related topics.

• Expertise in solution selling and technical presales within the backup and security sectors for enterprise clients.

• Strong grasp of IT infrastructures and their interdependencies within complex data center environments.

• Experience in deploying software solutions and executing rollouts in intricate IT settings.

• Practical experience with data protection technologies, storage solutions, and server- or cloud-based technologies.

• Familiarity with virtualization technologies, including VMware or Hyper-V.

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience presenting in German and English.
