• Develop and implement the regional Managed Service Provider (MSP) strategy to enhance MSP revenue throughout the APJ region.
• Determine the next target countries for expanding our MSP operations.
• Identify and recruit larger, high-potential MSP partners to diversify our current smaller partner base.
• Create scalable engagement models to boost partner adoption, technical capabilities, and sales performance.
• Lead a team of four MSP channel managers across the APJ region.
• Mentor, develop, and support the team to enhance performance and improve regional execution.
• Promote collaboration among sales, channel, product, and executive stakeholders.
• Drive MSP acquisition and enablement to ensure partners can effectively adopt and deliver Sophos solutions.
• Collaborate closely with Channel, Sales, Product, and Marketing teams to align initiatives and enhance market penetration.
• Contribute to the global MSP strategy and participate in leadership forums.
• Assist in the recruitment and expansion of MSP roles within the region.
• Participate in the interview process, including assessing partner leadership skills and strategic capabilities.
• Significant experience in an MSP leadership position within a technology vendor environment.
• Proven track record in building, incubating, and scaling programs or new business segments.
• Cross-regional experience across ANZ and the broader APJ markets (ASEAN and India preferred).
• Experience in recruiting and developing MSP partners, especially mid-sized to large providers, is essential.
• Technical and industry knowledge.
• Ability to articulate cybersecurity fundamentals, particularly regarding: MDR, Endpoint Security, XDR.
• Experience leading remote regional teams based in ANZ and ASEAN.
• Outstanding communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
• Additional experience within MSP-centric ecosystems.
• Previous success in driving growth in new or underdeveloped regional markets.
• Capability to influence at all levels, including senior executives and global stakeholders.
