
Senior Sales Manager – Data Centers, Power Stability

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take responsibility for achieving or surpassing a designated operational plan.
• Formulate and implement a commercial strategy for the sale of stability solutions for data centers in the North American market, which includes BESS (battery energy storage systems), EMS, Medium Voltage UPS, MV Switchgears, and related systems.
• Ensure precise forecasting of orders and convertible orders for your designated account portfolio, and document this in Salesforce.com.
• Cultivate day-to-day relationships and provide transactional support.
• Collaborate with selected GE Vernova business sales personnel across the region to execute joint account strategies and finalize synergy orders.
• Create and implement a comprehensive growth strategy with integrated initiatives for GE across the region.
• Build strategic relationships with key decision-makers, supporting the sales team’s strategic direction with power developers, Data Center Developers, Independent Power Producers, and co-locators.
• Drive the identification, prospecting, and generation of new sales opportunities.
• Assist your customers in sales activities and aid them in recognizing new opportunities.
• Coordinate activities and provide leadership to establish individual sales strategies while obtaining necessary approvals for pricing and delivery.
• Negotiate contracts as necessary.
• Stay informed about market trends, competitive actions, product demands, and customer bases.
• Collaborate with Marketing to create project-specific sales strategies for assigned customers.
• Offer feedback to the leadership team to foster ongoing growth.
• Manage expenses within the allocated budget.
• Oversee accounts in the region, responsible for nurturing relationships at all organizational levels, developing and monitoring growth strategies, marketing programs, and training.
• Manage, sustain, and expand accounts in the region to meet quarterly and annual targets.
• Ensure that leads provided by GE are pursued and converted into orders.
• Uphold global compliance standards and work with the compliance manager to carry out due diligence activities.
• Provide market insights, competitive intelligence, and hit-rate data to business and sales leadership.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical discipline from an accredited university or college.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in Sales, Commercial Operations, Engineering, or Technical Engineering.
• At least 4 years of experience in the Power Developer and Utilities Markets.
• Familiarity with Data Center Markets and Portfolios.
• Capability and readiness to maintain a valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
• Willingness to travel across North America up to 50% of the time.
