This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Establish the commercial pathway to enhance growth and profitability for MeriCal's Contract Sales portfolio, along with creating an effective sales process infrastructure.
• Spearhead the formulation of MeriCal's innovative marketing and sales strategy, focusing on increasing market penetration and sales growth, particularly through cost-effective customer acquisition and market demand generation.
• Contribute commercial insights to development initiatives and conduct business/market analyses for prioritizing programs.
• Oversee the monitoring of sales budgets and metrics related to business development.
• Enhance existing metrics to evaluate the sales team's success and utilize data to inform decisions for future growth.
• Lead the assessment of sales operations tools, including forecasting, pipeline management, and the sales operations framework, to organize the team for success, transparency, and effective execution.
• Seek growth opportunities through customer analytics and identification of potential prospects.
• Perform comprehensive analyses of current and expected business conditions that impact the enterprise and customer needs.
• Collaborate effectively with the marketing team to implement and convey core brand messages, service positioning statements, and marketing materials.
• A Bachelor's Degree is required; an MBA is preferred.
• At least 8 years of experience in Business-to-Business consultative selling within the dietary supplement or related sector.
• Familiarity with Nutritional/Health and Wellness products/categories.
• Experience in managing the development of custom or complex product formulas.
• Proven capabilities in sales management, including analysis and planning strategy, program development and implementation, as well as results reporting and control.
• A strong desire to lead the retail sales function for the benefit of all employees and functional areas.
• Demonstrated proficiency in selling to Business-to-Business customers.
• A passion for the consultative selling process and a commitment to delivering on promises to customers.
• Strong strategic planning and analytical talents, with a proven ability to identify and seize new market opportunities with both new and existing product services.
• Established capability to build relationships with both internal and external customers.
• Possess an insatiable curiosity, consistently asking questions like "How are we doing?", "What is happening in the market?", "Could we improve?", "How do others tackle this issue?", and "Should we reconsider our approach?".
• A strong sense of urgency to capitalize on market opportunities, where speed can serve as a significant market differentiator.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to promote sales strategies across the organization, fostering excitement, enthusiasm, and commitment.
• Skilled at helping others gain a clear understanding while driving towards outcomes.
• Highly capable of generating innovative ideas and executing them with the broader organizational goals in mind, while also leveraging emerging opportunities.
