This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +27 more states.
• Ensure the achievement of Vive's sales objectives across all regions within the country.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to assigned Territory Sales Managers (TSMs) to implement strategies and business plans that drive revenue growth.
• Oversee Vive personnel in the region to embody and represent Vive's values in their daily activities.
• Build productive and professional relationships with key personnel within assigned customer accounts, including regional business units and divisional heads.
• Leverage creativity, market insights, and business acumen to generate innovative ideas for business and market share expansion.
• Evaluate the skills and development needs of each direct report, ensuring they receive adequate coaching and training to enhance productivity and sales performance.
• Seek opportunities to measure and enhance sales effectiveness for each TSM.
• Collaborate closely with the US Sales Leader and the broader Commercial Leadership Team to implement and drive business initiatives and growth strategies with distribution and retail clients.
• Work in conjunction with all departments at Vive to support our overarching culture and business growth.
• 10+ years of sales experience in the agriculture sector within the US.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Significant experience in field sales within the agricultural industry.
• Proven experience in managing and coaching individuals and/or teams.
• Background in managing key influencers and decision-makers.
• Ability to establish deep and meaningful relationships with key accounts.
• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
• Effective in small team environments, fostering collaborative approaches.
• Experience in launching new products and/or technologies in the marketplace.
• Adaptable approach to fulfilling deliverables.
• Strong problem-solving mindset with excellent analytical capabilities.
• Strategic planning and execution skills with the ability to communicate across functions.
• Independent, proactive attitude.
• Willingness to travel as necessary across the US and Canada.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; valid passport.
