This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and implement IonQ’s SLED sales strategy, encompassing all elements of the IonQ portfolio (Compute Hardware / Software, AppDev, Networking, Sensing, and Space).
• Foster strategic partnerships at senior levels within State and Academic institutions.
• Discover new opportunities within State, local, Higher Education, and Academic institutions.
• Build a pipeline of sales opportunities for IonQ’s Quantum Computing solutions.
• Collaborate with customers and prospects to identify and explore new use cases alongside IonQ’s AppDev team.
• Assess opportunities based on budget availability, skills, interest, executive commitment, and timing.
• Develop proposals tailored to the opportunity, considering State and local regulations.
• Negotiate contracts and finalize business agreements.
• Enhance customer satisfaction in collaboration with IonQ’s Customer Success Team.
• Established relationships with Academic and Government stakeholders.
• At least 15 years of experience in Technology Sales/Business Development with quota-bearing responsibilities in the SLED sector.
• A bachelor's degree in Business, Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or another pertinent technical field (STEM).
• Proven ability to work as a team player with leadership skills and a hands-on approach to achieving results.
• Demonstrated experience and comprehension of business drivers and technology utilization in the SLED sector.
