This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Sales Execution: Oversee the entire product sales lifecycle, including new business development and lead generation through various programs and initiatives.
• Utilize a consultative approach to discern customer needs, present tailored solutions, and finalize business agreements.
• Account Development: Foster and sustain robust relationships with key oncology accounts, encompassing community practices, academic centers, and integrated delivery networks.
• Identify, cultivate, and manage commercial relationships with key opinion leaders in oncology and other essential healthcare professionals.
• Participate in local trade shows, industry conferences, and networking events.
• Strategic Territory Management: Formulate and implement territory plans aimed at surpassing sales objectives.
• Recognize and seize commercial growth opportunities within a designated region or geography, primarily focusing on traditional outpatient practices while also engaging with institutions, local insurance payors, physician groups, and long-term care facilities.
• Clinical Education: Provide engaging presentations on Myriad hereditary and precision oncology solutions to oncologists, surgeons, and healthcare teams.
• Cross Functional Collaboration: Work alongside the marketing team to develop and enhance sales and marketing materials continually.
• Collaborate with medical affairs, operations, payer markets, and other internal teams to facilitate seamless product adoption and integration.
• Market and Competitor Intelligence: Track competitive activities and deliver actionable insights to internal stakeholders and partners to enhance strategy and execution.
• Stay informed on industry and marketplace trends within personalized medicine.
• Compliance: Comply with all regulatory and company guidelines during promotional activities.
• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
• Location: This is a field-based position; candidates must reside within the assigned territory.
• Experience: A minimum of 8 years of successful sales experience or equivalent in oncology, molecular diagnostics, or a related healthcare sector is preferred.
• Proven experience in selling clinical products in the oncology therapeutic area with a focus on Oncology call points.
• Demonstrated capability to consistently meet or exceed sales targets in highly competitive markets.
• Proven track record in driving adoption within complex healthcare environments is preferred.
• Experience in expanding business within large health systems and integrated networks is preferred.
• Skills: Strong clinical acumen with the ability to interpret and effectively communicate scientific data.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills to influence and engage healthcare professionals.
• Expertise in managing complex accounts and navigating multi-stakeholder decision-making processes.
• Excellent presentation, training, coaching, and communication skills (both written and oral).
• Strong interpersonal skills, including active listening, coaching, advising, problem-solving, and facilitation.
• Highly organized with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable engaging with customers both remotely and in person.
• Flexible, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.
