This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +1 more state.
• Propel profitable growth through outbound calls, in-person visits to agencies, and strategic management of relationships with designated agency partners.
• Formulate, oversee, and implement agency business plans that align with yearly corporate goals, which include submission flow, premium enhancement, and retention.
• Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with agency partners, policyholders, and internal stakeholders to foster long-term success.
• Collaborate closely with underwriting to assess, price, and finalize new business, while guiding agencies through the submission process.
• Act as the main point of contact between agency partners and MEM teams, ensuring effective communication and prompt resolution of inquiries or issues.
• Direct agency onboarding, training, performance evaluations, and annual strategic discussions to maximize shared growth opportunities.
• Establish and oversee a pipeline of new agency relationships, including initiatives for state expansion that align with MEM's strategic objectives.
• Work in partnership with Underwriting, Claims, Loss Prevention, and Premium Consultation teams to provide a seamless and distinctive customer experience.
• Keep track of marketplace trends, competitive offerings, and pricing dynamics, sharing insights to aid in rate-making and market strategy.
• Use Salesforce and agency management tools to monitor agency activities, opportunities, and performance metrics.
• Represent MEM at industry events, promotional activities, and meetings with agent associations.
• Ensure that all activities align with MEM's policies, procedures, and commitment to safety and service excellence.
• A Bachelor's degree is required, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• Insurance designations such as INS, CIC, CPCU, or similar coursework are highly preferred, but not mandatory.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Over 10 years of experience in the insurance industry, with a focus on underwriting and/or sales.
