This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Reporting to the Vice President of Sales Engineering, the Senior Sales Engineer will play a pivotal role in expanding the sales organization within the EMEA region.
• Collaborating with Sales personnel in designated territories, the engineer will guide prospective customers through their Cofense sales journey.
• Serving as a local mentor to both sales and SE peers, providing technical support to direct and channel sales teams.
• Execute and oversee technical activities that bolster the sales process.
• Work collaboratively with the direct sales team and partner sales staff in the region to meet established sales objectives.
• Conduct technical discovery and demonstrations for prospective clients, showcasing the business value of our solutions.
• Liaise with internal teams, including Product Management, to relay regional feedback for product enhancement.
• Emphasize Business Value Translation by using storytelling techniques to convey complex engineering or software features as tangible business advantages, including measurable ROI or cost savings.
• Support sales operations in the assigned territory, closely coordinating with the direct sales team as well as partner sales and engineering personnel regionally and globally.
• Present the complete range of Cofense Solutions from a technical standpoint.
• Manage Proof of Value (POV) initiatives with multiple clients to secure technical wins in various opportunities.
• Complete RFPs, security questionnaires, and other necessary technical documentation throughout the sales process.
• Maintain relationships with technical personnel in information security departments across diverse industries.
• Detail-oriented and focused, capable of documenting activities in CRM tools for precise technical forecasting.
• A four-year Bachelor of Arts or Science degree (or equivalent) is preferred.
• A minimum of four years of sales engineering experience in the information security sector (or equivalent experience) with additional years in a relevant role required.
• CISSP or SANS Certification is preferred.
• IT security experience with a solid understanding of Computer Incident Response and Forensics.
• Proficiency in network communication troubleshooting with strong TCP/IP skills, along with familiarity with SMTP, IMAP, HTTP, and other Internet protocols.
• Experience in troubleshooting solutions within enterprise networks, with knowledge of proxies, LDAP/Active Directory, E-mail Infrastructure, and other related technologies.
• Familiarity with Virtual Machine Environments.
• Experience with SIEM and/or Threat Intelligence platforms.
• Proven track record of completing RFPs and customer security questionnaires to facilitate deal closure.
• Practical experience in delivering information security services, such as assessments, penetration testing, and Security Operations Center duties is preferred.
• Hands-on experience in social engineering testing and analysis is preferred.
• Experience in creating and managing YARA rule sets is desirable.
• Practical experience in incident response and computer forensics is preferred.
• Previous experience as a presenter on information security topics at conferences and events is preferred.
