This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with account teams to formulate and implement targeted account strategies throughout the New England region.

• Establish trusted relationships with customers and prospects, acting as their primary technical advisor during the evaluation phase.

• Provide engaging, value-oriented product demonstrations customized to meet customer needs and business goals.

• Conduct technical discovery sessions with security, IT, messaging, data protection, and AI compliance teams.

• Plan, execute, and oversee Proofs of Concept, production evaluations, and activities for technical validation.

• Design and advocate for intricate human-centric, data-centric, and AI-aware security solutions within the Proofpoint portfolio.

• Cultivate expertise in essential areas including email security, advanced threat protection, data security, cloud collaboration security, AI governance, and agentic AI security.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of hands-on technical experience in Sales Engineering, Systems Engineering, Technical Account Management, Security Engineering, senior product support, or a similar capacity.

• Experience in a customer-facing technical role, ideally within the cybersecurity sector.

• In-depth knowledge of email security, data security, cloud/SaaS platforms, email infrastructure, networking, endpoint security, NOC/SOC operations, MSP environments, or related cybersecurity fields.

• Proven experience in positioning platform-based solutions and linking technical capabilities to business value.

• A consultative mindset for problem-solving and the capability to guide customers through intricate technical decisions.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational abilities.

• Capacity to work autonomously, adapt swiftly, and excel in a dynamic, high-energy sales atmosphere.

• A positive attitude, strong sense of ownership, and a collaborative approach.
