Senior Sales Engineer

📋 Description

• Design and oversee the Demo Ecosystem: Develop and maintain the 'Gold Standard' demo environment, incorporating the system architecture, database schemas, and API layers that facilitate Invoca’s technical storytelling.

• Full-Stack Prototyping: Create functional user interfaces and dashboards that render complex AI processes 'visible' and intuitive for non-technical stakeholders.

• Scalable 'Scaffolding': Develop modular demo assets and 'click-to-deploy' sandboxes that can be easily customized by the broader SE team for specific industry verticals.

• Process Automation: Utilize tools such as Gumloop, Zapier, or Workato to streamline data flows between marketing touchpoints and sales outcomes.

• Lead Technical Strategy: Collaborate with Account Executives on high-value accounts to guide integration, technical discovery, and address complex technical challenges.

• High-Stakes Technical Reviews: Serve as the lead architect during in-depth technical reviews with customer CTOs and Security Officers, advocating for the scalability, database integrity, and security of your proposed solutions.

• AI Thought Leadership: Work alongside Product and Engineering teams to ensure Invoca is 'AI-ready,' providing feedback from the field to our core product developers.

• Governance & Safety: Establish 'Human-in-the-Loop' checkpoints to guarantee that AI-generated demo content is reliable, safe, and devoid of hallucinations.

• Business Acumen: Ability to convert a technical architecture into a 'Value Story.' You recognize that the best code is ineffective if it does not address a business pain point.

• The 'Multiplier' Mindset: You take pleasure in creating tools that enable others to succeed. You are passionate about documentation and reusable code.

• Experience: A minimum of 5 years in Sales Engineering, Solution Architecture, or Forward Deployed Engineering within a SaaS environment.

• Nice to Have: Full-Stack Engineering DNA: Capability to design a multi-tier system from the database schema to the UI. Proficiency in Python or JavaScript/Node.js.

• Architectural Fluency: Profound understanding of RESTful APIs, Webhooks, and authentication protocols (OAuth2). You are adept at integrating disparate systems into a cohesive, automated workflow.

• Generative AI Expertise: Hands-on experience with LLM orchestration (RAG, Prompt Engineering) and frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex. You have developed systems where AI performs tasks through function calling/tool use.
