This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Collaborate with the Sales team to effectively communicate the comprehensive Datadog value proposition, vision, and strategy to clients.
• Take ownership of technical interactions with customers during the trial phase, articulating Datadog's value based on activities and addressing any identified issues or concerns until resolution.
• Successfully close intricate opportunities through advanced competitive insight, technical expertise, and established credibility.
• Present product and technical briefings to prospective clients.
• Keep precise notes and feedback in CRM regarding customer insights, including both successes and setbacks.
• Actively engage and communicate with customers and Datadog's business/technical teams about product feedback and the competitive landscape.
• Enthusiastic about educating customers on observability risks that are significant to their business, with the ability to devise and implement an evaluation plan alongside a customer.
• Possess strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of understanding and conveying both the business advantages (value proposition) and technical merits of our offerings.
• Proficient in programming/scripting with any of the following languages: Java, Python, Ruby, Go, Node.JS, PHP, and .NET, among others.
• Have a minimum of 3+ years of experience in a Sales Engineering or DevOps Engineering role.
• Capable of sitting for up to 4 hours while traveling to and from client locations.
• Willing to travel via car, train, or air up to 45% of the time.
