This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Take ownership of new business opportunities within one of the nation's fastest-growing smart home markets.
• Identify and engage builders, designers, architects, and homeowners through proactive outreach, networking, and referrals.
• Conduct in-home sales consultations to gain insights into client lifestyles, identify opportunities, and recommend customized smart home solutions.
• Create and deliver comprehensive sales proposals, working alongside internal system designers to define technical specifications.
• Establish and nurture long-term relationships with regional trade partners through individual meetings and group presentations.
• Oversee the complete sales cycle within the CRM, ensuring all interactions are recorded and data is leveraged to refine outreach strategies.
• Regularly achieve and surpass monthly and quarterly sales and revenue objectives.
• Demonstrated success in sales hunting or business development, with a proven ability to build pipelines from the ground up.
• Experience in conducting professional in-home or on-site sales consultations and crafting detailed client proposals.
• Strong CRM habits, treating the platform as an essential tool for territory management.
• Outstanding presentation and relationship-building skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
• Self-motivated and highly organized, able to manage a complex calendar and follow-up schedule independently.
• Quick to learn and articulate the benefits of smart home technology (lighting, audio/video, security, and automation).
• **Nice-to-Haves**
• Over 3 years of experience in custom integration, A/V, lighting control, low-voltage, or residential construction sales.
• A current book of business or established connections with builders, designers, or architects in the Houston area.
• Familiarity with major home automation platforms.
• A consistent track record of exceeding sales quotas in a consultative sales environment.
