This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Establish and cultivate enduring strategic partnerships with building owners, mechanical contractors, and consulting engineers.
• Oversee a designated account portfolio, pinpointing high-potential prospects and steering business development efforts to foster regional expansion.
• Act as a brand ambassador by representing the organization at trade shows and industry events to enhance visibility and shape market perception.
• Assess client needs thoroughly to identify inefficiencies within buildings and systems.
• Engage early in the process to influence specifications and design decisions, ensuring our solutions are incorporated from the outset of projects.
• Take charge of the bid process by identifying opportunities, crafting detailed proposals, and leading negotiations to secure new business.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Operations, and Service teams to guarantee technical feasibility and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Manage the transition from "sale" to "execution," ensuring that the operations team is well-prepared for success and that the customer experience remains seamless.
• Propel the sales cycle forward through diligent follow-up and proactive communication.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Over 5 years of experience in the HVAC/BAS Controls industry.
• At least 2 years of sales experience within the HVAC/BAS Controls sector.
• Possession of a valid and up-to-date Driver’s License.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline (preferred).
• Proficiency in Sales, HVAC, Building Automation, and/or controls knowledge (preferred).
• Experience in selling to the BAS/HVAC Controls Industry (preferred).
• Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and the ability to promote their use among team members (preferred).
• Prior leadership experience with a capacity to lead and inspire diverse teams (preferred).
• Capability to deliver persuasive presentations to prospective customers (preferred).
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and analytical abilities (preferred).
• Experience in analyzing market and company data to formulate business strategies (preferred).
• Proficient in Microsoft 360 applications (preferred).
