This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Engage with both new and existing customers to enhance the sales of NWD’s products and services.
• Oversee customer accounts within a designated territory in the US Eastern Region.
• Conduct research, profiling, and qualification of potential clients to establish a strong and precise sales pipeline.
• Apply effective sales strategies to initiate contact, evaluate customer needs, and present NWD solutions that fulfill technical and program requirements.
• Create and present presentations, demonstrations, and proposal materials that clearly convey NWD’s capabilities and value proposition.
• Assist in quoting activities, proposal preparation, and follow-up communications to ensure a seamless sales process and positive customer experience.
• Address and resolve customer concerns in collaboration with internal teams to guarantee satisfaction and sustain relationships.
• Keep a comprehensive understanding of NWD’s product offerings, competitive landscape, and industry trends.
• Ensure accurate opportunity and customer data management within the CRM system (Salesforce).
• Collaborate with internal departments such as engineering, operations, contracts, and program management to fulfill customer expectations.
• Attend trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings as necessary.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• 3-7+ years of experience in inside sales, business development, or outside sales is preferred; experience in Aerospace and Defense or technical sales is advantageous.
• 3+ years of experience supporting the Regional Sales Leader in the Eastern time zone.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical information.
• Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Capacity to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and CRM tools such as Salesforce.
• Eagerness to learn about NWD’s embedded computing and FPGA-based systems in depth.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25% for customer meetings or events.
• Must be capable of lifting and carrying 20 pounds.
• Must possess finger and wrist dexterity with repetitive motion.
• Successful candidates must be classified as a "U.S. Person" and able to provide proof upon employment acceptance.
