Senior Risk Management, Loss Control Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Perform insurance risk management assessments on a variety of moderate to complex risks.

• Carry out risk management consultations at the locations of policyholders.

• Create recommendations for risk management programs based on findings.

• Initiate, provide, and disseminate resources to policyholders and agency clients regarding risk management topics and trends.

• Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses with conclusions aimed at enhancing customer service goals.

• Oversee workload assignments to achieve agency customer engagement initiatives.

• Collaborate with underwriting and claims teams for new business development and account retention.

• Facilitate training sessions for policyholders and agency clients.

• Act as an advisor on matters related to risk management.

• Engage in designated workgroups that support profitability and service delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in risk management or a relevant field, with advanced certification/designation (CSP, ARM, CRM, CIC, CPCU) preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in safety, risk management, or a related industry.

• Strong proficiency in business computer applications, including MS Office and other industry-specific platforms.

• Proven ability to foster positive relationships and partnerships within the department, across the organization, and with external customers.

• Well-honed conflict resolution skills.

• Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, analytical, and decision-making abilities.

• Capability to work independently while also being collaborative.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
