This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Identify and clearly communicate significant risks
• Ensure alignment between disclosures and actual operations
• Quantify exposure wherever feasible
• Maintain credible documentation
• Engage in processes for risk identification
• Assess historical incident responses
• Review security maturity
• Oversee documentation of controls
• Align risks with security and compliance measures
• Monitor and assess evidence retention
• Integrate risk throughout the engineering lifecycle
• Collaborate with Security and Platform Engineering teams
• Lead operational risk quantification efforts
• Provide architectural expertise during due diligence
• Own the enterprise risk management framework
• Coordinate with Legal, Finance, and Audit departments
• Develop a reporting structure for the board
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, risk management, or a related discipline.
• Prior experience in risk management, compliance, or analytical positions.
• Although this is not a technical role, familiarity with software development concepts will be highly beneficial.
• Professional certification, such as a Certified Risk Management Professional (CRMP), is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
