Senior Risk Control Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Delivers effective and efficient risk evaluation services of a complex nature through timely and precise site surveys aimed at identifying and assessing loss exposure, hazards, and controls for intricate risks.

• Offers continuous consultative risk enhancement services to clients, focusing on the Stewardship Program. This includes analyzing and evaluating current loss control measures, preparing reports, providing safety consultations, and developing recommendations and corrective action plans to minimize loss potential.

• Produces high-quality written risk control reports to effectively communicate and document risk evaluations for internal staff.

• Drafts high-quality written business letters related to risk control to communicate and document evaluation activities and outcomes for external customers and agents.

• Provides consultative risk improvement services by analyzing and assessing existing risk control measures, conducting safety consultations, and formulating recommendations and corrective action plans to reduce loss potential and enhance safety programs.

• Leads safety training sessions for clients and staff to complement safety programming.

• Additionally, may conduct safety meetings and/or presentations to professional groups and industry associations.

• Promotes the marketing of Enterprise Risk Control services through professional surveys, inviting agents to participate in surveys, accompanying field underwriters, attending and engaging in meetings/presentations with agents, and identifying potential service opportunities.

• Ensures economical service delivery through cost-effective trip planning and territory management, which includes scheduling assigned work and maintaining a current general service territory.

• Contributes to overall Enterprise growth initiatives by identifying potential service opportunities.


⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in Property Casualty Risk Control/Loss Prevention.

• A minimum of 5 years of knowledge regarding OSHA, NFPA, and other technical standards.

• At least 5 years of knowledge concerning commercial coverages and risk evaluation techniques.

• Proficient in most standard business software applications, notably Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook).

• Must reside within the designated territory of Northeastern Ohio (Cleveland or surrounding areas including Canton/Akron area).
