This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Collaborate with clients to gain insights into business logic, decision-making processes, challenges, fraud patterns, data availability, data quality, and targeted business outcomes.
• Convert business obstacles into practical risk and solution requirements.
• Facilitate technical conversations with clients' risk, fraud, AML, and data teams to guarantee thorough and high-quality data collection.
• Oversee the coordination of data transfers and validation of data quality.
• Perform data analysis and investigate fraud patterns leveraging strong domain expertise and business judgment.
• Develop, recommend, test, and refine detection strategies to enhance risk outcomes.
• Configure components of the DataVisor platform, including the Rules Engine, Decision Flows, Case Management, Knowledge Graph, and BI Dashboards.
• Provide customized solutions that deliver significant business value to clients.
• Collaborate with the ML Modeling team to create, optimize, and assess supervised and unsupervised fraud detection models.
• Evaluate model performance metrics and offer guidance on setting thresholds and decision-making strategies.
• Manage solution delivery projects utilizing project management tools like Monday.com.
• Take responsibility for the creation, upkeep, and reporting of critical internal and customer-facing project deliverables.
• Present project insights, recommendations, and solution results to both business and technical stakeholders.
• Showcase configured solutions and communicate the business impact clearly and effectively.
• Over 4 years of experience in fraud and/or AML strategy, analytics, or modeling.
• More than 2 years of experience leading client-focused data analytics or consulting initiatives.
• In-depth domain knowledge of fraud and AML use cases in the financial services sector.
• Proficient in advanced SQL, including complex joins and layered business logic.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, R, and Java is advantageous.
• Experience with LLM tools like ChatGPT and Claude to enhance research, problem-solving, and documentation efforts.
• Background in configuring technical products and troubleshooting feature, rule, and result behaviors.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and results-driven mindset.
• Disciplined documentation practices and a keen interest in automation through AI tools and agents.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team setting and juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or analytical field such as Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
