This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.
• Prepare datasets to facilitate advanced risk analysis.
• Own and continually improve risk assessment frameworks, algorithms, and decision-making strategies.
• Manage the complete lifecycle of LLM models.
• Develop and enhance fraud prevention strategies, incorporating rule-based systems and predictive models.
• Define, monitor, and analyze essential risk and business KPIs; convert insights into actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• Create and sustain automated reporting and monitoring solutions to ensure proactive risk management.
• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and business teams to integrate risk controls into processes and customer experiences.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to the establishment of best practices in risk analytics and modeling.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline (Master’s degree is advantageous).
• Over 4 years of experience in risk analytics, data analytics, or a comparable role within the banking or fintech sectors.
• Advanced SQL skills and significant practical experience with Python.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or comparable platforms.
• Profound knowledge of statistical analysis, risk modeling, and machine learning methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities with the ability to thrive in ambiguous and fast-paced settings.
• Proven track record in identifying root causes, evaluating risk implications, and proposing scalable solutions.
• Proficient in English.
