Senior Revenue Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee revenue recognition processes in line with ASC 606, including contract evaluation, identification of performance obligations, and allocation of transaction prices.

• Supervise monthly, quarterly, and annual closing procedures related to revenue, deferred revenue, and unbilled revenue.

• Prepare and review journal entries related to revenue, conduct account reconciliations, and perform flux analyses along with supporting documentation.

• Assist in external audits by creating audit schedules and addressing revenue-related inquiries.

• Develop and enhance revenue policies, procedures, and internal controls.

• Propel initiatives for process automation and scalability.

• Support the implementation of NetSuite.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.

• Over 4 years of accounting experience (public accounting or experience within SaaS is preferred).

• Extensive knowledge of ASC 606 and principles of revenue recognition.

• Familiarity with NetSuite and/or Sage Intacct.

• Experience with NetSuite implementation is advantageous.

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, and V-lookups).

• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.

• Competence in collaborating with cross-functional teams.
