Senior Revenue Accountant

📋 Description

• Oversee essential month-end and quarter-end closing activities for revenue-related accounts and deliverables.

• Prepare and evaluate reconciliations, examine variances, and address issues within revenue-related accounts and data streams.

• Assist with external and statutory audits by compiling revenue data, cash receipt samples, Uber disbursement support, and other audit requests.

• Collaborate with FinTech, RSL, and accounting colleagues to troubleshoot system issues and facilitate timely resolutions, including necessary manual adjustments or topside entries.

• Aid in managing complex intercompany and cross-entity revenue-related entries and closing challenges.

• Help ensure the accuracy of data flowing through RSL, FAH, and downstream reporting/ERP systems while identifying practical process enhancements.

• Support ongoing journal entries and closing activities currently managed by the team, with the potential for expanded ownership over time.

• Contribute to the development of documentation, control enhancements, and scalable processes that minimize manual effort and improve reliability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline.

• 4–6+ years of pertinent accounting experience, particularly in revenue accounting and/or auditing.

• In-depth knowledge of US GAAP, month-end closing procedures, account reconciliations, and audit support.

• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data and process challenges while effectively collaborating across diverse systems and stakeholders.

• Proficiency in navigating large, intricate data sets within highly automated accounting and ERP frameworks.

• Outstanding problem-solving abilities and the capacity to maintain effectiveness and organization under stringent closing deadlines.
