Senior Revenue Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the preparation and review of monthly revenue-related reconciliations, rollforwards, and supporting schedules.

• Prepare and evaluate journal entries and flux analyses for revenue, deferred revenue, accounts receivable, commissions, and other associated accounts.

• Maintain thorough, audit-ready documentation for recurring close activities, encompassing organized workpapers, reconciliations, and supporting evidence.

• Lead designated revenue close deliverables, ensuring that tasks are completed accurately, punctually, and in alignment with established policies and controls.

• Investigate and resolve accounting issues, unusual items, and reconciling differences in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.

• Assist with external audits by preparing necessary support, coordinating requests, responding to inquiries, and documenting accounting positions.

• Collaborate with Deal Desk, FP&A, Legal, and other teams to address operational challenges and enhance upstream process quality.

• Identify and pursue opportunities to streamline close activities through standardization, automation, and AI-enabled workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 4+ years of progressive experience in accounting, auditing, or related finance roles.

• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, with experience in applying revenue recognition guidance and related accounting principles.

• Proven experience in managing or leading recurring close activities, reconciliations, and financial analyses in a dynamic environment.

• Exceptional analytical skills with a keen eye for detail, and the capability to identify issues, assess root causes, and implement solutions with minimal oversight.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including reconciliations, lookups, and analysis of large datasets.
