This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Prepare protocols, reports, and other project deliverables, engage with clients, and contribute to strategic thinking under the guidance of senior staff.
• Oversee scientific coordination and project management, including defining project scope, tracking progress, and coordinating team tasks across various projects.
• Assume scientific responsibility for the design and execution of new retrospective, prospective, and/or cross-sectional data collection projects under senior oversight.
• Offer scientific advice and consultation on methodological and operational aspects of project design and execution.
• Lead or coordinate the creation of protocols, analysis plans, case report forms, survey questions, and reports for senior review.
• Interact with project sponsors, physicians, clinical sites, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Oversee project budget expenditure and manage timelines for scientific tasks and deliverables.
• Act as Principal Investigator on certain client engagements, bearing final responsibility for project budget, deliverables, and timelines.
• Lead or coordinate the development of abstracts and manuscripts.
• Contribute to Evidera's business development through proposal writing, involvement in the sales cycle, attendance at conferences, and delivering presentations.
• Supervise or mentor junior staff and interns as necessary.
• Collaborate with clinical operations, data management, biostatistics, and data analysts.
• Assist in the creation of training materials and process enhancements.
• Participate in client calls and address inquiries related to assigned work.
• Contribute to client and project strategy under the direction of senior staff.
• A PhD in epidemiology or a closely related field is required, or an MSc with 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• For the MSc alternative, 3–5 years of relevant experience is required.
• Prior experience in consultancy and/or CRO is highly desirable.
• Experience with new data collection field projects, especially non-interventional designs, is preferred.
• A solid understanding of epidemiologic methodology is required.
• Proficient in MS Office software.
• Familiarity with SAS, Stata, or R is a plus.
• Experience in designing peri- or post-approval late-phase interventional projects is a plus.
• REMS experience is preferred.
• Ability to effectively communicate and document information in written English.
• Capability to produce well-organized, error-free scientific reports, presentations, emails, and other written deliverables tailored to the audience.
• Strong skills in organization, time management, prioritization, and decision-making.
• Ability to quickly learn and implement new information, skills, and procedures.
• A proactive and positive attitude towards tasks and projects, demonstrating resilience during process, project, budget, or client changes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport with internal and external contacts in person, by phone, and via email.
• Experience in presenting ideas to individuals and groups in formal settings.
• Ability to understand client needs and propose appropriate solutions.
• Sound professional judgment in analyzing, responding to, and resolving inquiries, issues, and escalations.
• National and international travel may be required.
