Research Specialist 2

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Assist with the implementation of community-focused, mixed methods evaluation protocols.

• Carry out continuous data collection, entry, and management activities.

• Produce various reports.

• Conduct literature reviews and synthesize the findings.

• Manage and maintain project databases.

• Execute qualitative data collection, coding, and analysis tasks.

• Contribute to the development of scientific presentations.

• Distribute incentives to participants.

• Provide support to the Principal Investigator and Co-Investigator in data analysis and report preparation.

• Organize meetings with both internal and external project team members.

• Execute related research, evaluation, office, and administrative duties.

• Collaborate with project faculty, administrative and student staff, as well as community-based project partners.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is required.

• A minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience is necessary.

• A Master’s degree is preferred.

• Experience in both quantitative and qualitative data analysis as well as software such as Excel and Atlas.ti is essential.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.

• Strong research abilities are a must.

• Capability to maintain a research and evaluation library along with a catalogue of resources.

• Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.

• Knowledge of library resources and web-based research techniques.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access.

• Familiarity with database management and data visualization is important.

• Willingness to travel within the Washington, DC area to fulfill program activities.
