This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Assist in the creation and execution of research and evaluation strategies utilizing various designs and mixed methodologies.
• Formulate and execute analysis plans for both qualitative and quantitative datasets.
• Contribute to the preparation of technical reports intended for researchers and practitioners.
• Perform thorough quality assessments of work products prior to client delivery.
• Develop SAS code for longitudinal studies and review or enhance pre-existing code.
• Collaborate with research, evaluation, and analytical team members from diverse backgrounds.
• Aid in the development of proposals for new projects.
• Master’s degree in education, public health, sociology, psychology, public policy, or a related discipline.
• Over 3 years of experience in qualitative and quantitative data collection, research analysis, and/or program evaluation.
• Proven experience in producing high-quality, professionally crafted materials and taking ownership of research assignments.
• Proficient in SAS coding.
• Must be a US citizen.
• Capable of passing a background check/SF-86, which includes no use of illicit substances (e.g., cannabis) in the last 7 years.
• Familiarity with prevention research and/or K-20 and/or adult education systems in the United States.
• Understanding of experimental, quasi-experimental, and mixed-method research frameworks.
• Strong capabilities in analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks concurrently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while adhering to strict deadlines.
• Previous experience in a consulting setting.
• Proficient in using SPSS, R, or Python.
• Experience in creating data visualizations.
• Competence in MS Office Applications: Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, and Teams.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Outstanding verbal, oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills, including experience in developing and delivering presentations.
• Ability to function effectively both independently and as a collaborative team member.
