Senior Reporting & Analytics Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Initiate, execute, lead, and assist customers on managed services projects by providing financial analysis, project control, custom reporting, and analytical support.

• Collect and document requirements for tailored reports using Excel and business intelligence tools; create, test, and record these advanced and innovative solutions to satisfy customer needs.

• Act as a key resource across Unanet regarding the capabilities and functionality of BI/Analytics/Datalake offerings.

• Design and develop custom analytics entities (such as dashboards, reports, and visualizations) for customers based on their specifications, utilizing BI tools or Excel as necessary.

• Collaborate with the broader Technical Services Group to create packaged offerings and provide support or customization of those offerings for clients.

• Assist the customer throughout the implementation phase to ensure successful adoption of Unanet and BI/Analytics solutions.

• Conduct customer reporting training sessions.

• Ensure that projects adhere to timelines and budget constraints by proactively setting expectations and identifying and communicating potential risks.

• Maintain established target utilization rates.

• Manage multiple concurrent implementations in an organized manner.

• Support the ongoing improvement of Professional Services processes and procedures.

• Contribute as a Unanet Subject Matter Expert to our Knowledge Center.

• Stay informed about new features and functionalities of Unanet products.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience with advanced Excel functions (such as Array, Visual Basic for Applications, Power Query M Language).

• Proven proficiency in creating complex Excel workbooks using advanced functions and handling large data sets.

• Expertise in project planning and forecasting, GL budgeting, and standard Unanet reporting capabilities.

• Strong ability to develop intricate custom reporting solutions utilizing various business intelligence tools (including Power BI, Cloud Data Warehouse, Exago).

• Prior programming experience (such as Access, SQL, Impromptu).

• Proficient in financial data analysis and project control methodologies.

• Previous experience with ERP or financial software.

• Familiarity with Indirect Cost Pools.

• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and client-facing communication skills.

• Strong organizational and analytical abilities with the capability to manage multiple concurrent projects.

• Willingness to travel to client locations (up to 25%).
