Senior Reporting Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Prepares intricate balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and a variety of financial reports

• Evaluates current costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations

• Supervises, guides, and supports junior accountants

• Ensures compliance with legal regulations to prevent legal issues

• Maintains confidentiality of information to safeguard departmental integrity

• Engages in educational opportunities and nurtures professional networks

• Prepares and records entries related to assets, liabilities, revenues, and expenses

• Generates financial reports required for taxes, regulatory bodies, and shareholders

• Follows University and unit-level policies and procedures

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is mandatory

• At least 4 years of relevant experience is essential

• Capability to acquire new procedures, technologies, and protocols

• Ability to collaborate effectively with others

• Proficient in utilizing office software and related computer applications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
