
Senior Remote Sensing Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
β’ Responsible for the post-processing of aerial data to produce final deliverables that cater to various markets and users.
β’ Ensures the precision and dependability of all outputs generated from LiDAR and imagery data collected from both manned and unmanned aircraft.
β’ Addresses and resolves technical challenges.
β’ Conducts thorough quality control assessments.
β’ Collaborates closely with Remote Sensing Project Leads and other stakeholders to facilitate the successful implementation of projects.
β’ A minimum of 5+ years of experience or an Associate degree or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g., geomatics, surveying, remote sensing).
β’ At least 3+ years in a senior technician position.
β’ ASPRS certifications are highly desirable.
β’ A solid understanding of LiDAR and remote sensing concepts along with data processing.
β’ Proficient in utilizing Remote Sensing software and tools such as TerraSolid, RiProcess, MicroStation, MetaShape, Photoshop, PLS-CADD, and TopoDOT.
β’ Comprehensive knowledge of coordinate systems and projections.
β’ Relevant industry experience in power generation and delivery, Department of Transportation (DOT), and renewable energy sectors.
β’ Familiarity with scripting and light programming to aid in automation.
β’ Knowledgeable about surveying techniques and equipment for an understanding of project control.
β’ Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
β’ Strong attention to detail and an ability to work with accuracy.
β’ Effective communication and collaboration skills.
β’ Capacity to work independently while managing multiple tasks concurrently.
