This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct reviews (audits) of organizational documentation to ensure adherence to the Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act requirements.
• Analyze company documentation for compliance with both state and federal regulations.
• Document and summarize the findings of the analysis to provide evidence of compliance issues and the conclusions drawn.
• Create recommendations for corrective measures to address instances of non-compliance.
• Prepare requests for information (RFI) and compliance communications directed at audit stakeholders to effectively communicate audit findings and ensure necessary corrective actions are implemented for compliance.
• A college degree or equivalent experience is necessary.
• Experience with Mental Health Parity is required.
• A minimum of four years in health insurance regulatory and compliance roles, with a preference for audit experience.
• A Juris Doctor (JD) degree is preferred.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects while adhering to both internal and external deadlines.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Capability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat PDF.
