This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Document essential processes and internal control points, identifying gaps or areas for enhancement.
• Develop and revise policy and procedure documents to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory standards.
• Conduct audits of both internal and external processes, including consumer telephone communications, loan documentation preparation and execution, as well as vendor performance evaluations.
• Analyze data and conduct testing.
• Accurately and effectively document and communicate audit findings.
• Offer clear, actionable recommendations and alternatives to Management and the Director of Compliance.
• Foster collaborative relationships with lending partners and vendors.
• Carry out potential off-site vendor audits that may require travel.
• Undertake special projects as assigned.
• 3–5 years of experience in a relevant risk management, quality assurance, or compliance setting.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities.
• Proficient in both written and verbal communication.
• In-depth understanding of the auto finance industry.
• Strong critical thinking, problem analysis, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, or other database applications.
• Capability to work independently.
• Willingness to travel for limited off-site vendor audits.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to remain seated at a computer terminal for extended periods.
• May be required to lift approximately 25 lbs.
