Senior Regional Operations Excellence Manager - North

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with leadership to formulate, standardize, and execute company strategies and KPIs within your region.

• Assist in the creation of tools and processes to implement and maintain continuous improvement initiatives and cost-saving measures.

• Advocate for a Lean culture throughout your region and the organization as a whole.

• Educate and mentor employees—both those involved in Continuous Improvement (CI) and those who are not—in Kaizen principles.

• Propel cultural transformation by developing standardized training and mentoring others in Lean tools, approaches, and techniques, promoting continuous improvement while enhancing safety, quality, delivery, and cost efficiency in both production and office environments.

• Act as a liaison to share and implement best practices across the organization.

• Mentor and lead cost-saving initiatives in partnership with CI and Operations teams to enhance safety, first-pass quality, direct labor, yield, and indirect labor year over year.

• Identify and lead large-scale projects to guarantee successful implementation across the organization.

• Manage multiple projects at once, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

• Recognize high-potential employees, coaching and mentoring them to lead and execute improvement initiatives while supporting their career advancement.

• Aid in identifying and driving cost optimization projects to improve operational efficiency.

• Operate cross-functionally to ensure proper information flow and understanding of overall process improvement direction and anticipated results.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional team members to enhance standardized dashboarding capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, Operations, or a related field is required.

• 5 to 7 years of experience in Continuous Improvement (Lean manufacturing) and Training is required; experience in beverage or food industries is strongly preferred.

• Experience across multiple sites, with a proven ability to oversee operations in various locations.

• Demonstrated success in driving change, implementing sustainable improvements, and cultivating a culture of continuous improvement.

• Must possess at least a fundamental understanding of manufacturing equipment operations and functions.

• Expertise in Lean deployment, including practical experience with Lean methodologies and tools.

• Project management experience, with the capability to lead and carry out initiatives effectively.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with SAP is an advantage.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, accompanied by a results-oriented mindset.

• Experience in budget planning and management, ensuring cost-effective operations and resource allocation.
