Senior Refrigeration Controls Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Design, program, troubleshoot, and enhance refrigeration control systems.

• Ensure adherence to safety and compliance standards set by OSHA PSM and EPA RMP regulations.

• Conduct root cause analysis for failures in refrigeration systems.

• Oversee the integration of refrigeration systems with facility monitoring and automation systems.

• Provide mentorship to junior engineers and technicians in refrigeration controls.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in supporting industrial refrigeration and control systems.

• Hands-on experience with ammonia refrigeration systems.

• Experience working in highly automated settings.

• Extensive knowledge of Process Safety Management (PSM) and Risk Management Program (RMP) compliance requirements.

• Experience in supporting capital projects.

• Proficient in interpreting and creating P&IDs, technical specifications, and engineering documentation.

• Familiarity with OSHA and EPA regulations.

• Experience with PLC/Automation systems, including Rockwell, Siemens, Allen Bradley, SCADA, and HMI interfaces.
