This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee a diverse portfolio of substantial and intricate commercial receivable accounts.
• Formulate and implement strategic recovery initiatives aimed at optimizing collection outcomes and enhancing client satisfaction.
• Engage with business decision-makers via phone, email, and written communication to negotiate payment resolutions.
• Examine contracts, invoices, purchase orders, statements, payment history, and related account documentation.
• Assess account status, payment patterns, disputes, and financial data to devise recovery strategies.
• Negotiate full payments, settlements, structured payment plans, and other mutually advantageous solutions.
• Cultivate effective relationships with debtors while upholding a firm and professional demeanor.
• Work in partnership with clients, Client Support Representatives, sales teams, and management to address disputes and eliminate payment obstacles.
• Identify accounts that necessitate escalation and suggest litigation, legal action, or closure when warranted.
• Achieve or surpass monthly recovery, fee generation, productivity, and quality goals.
• Over 10 years of experience in commercial B2B collections within a third-party collection agency setting.
• Proven track record in recovering high-balance commercial receivables.
• Strong skills in negotiation, persuasion, and conflict resolution.
• Capability to manage complex account disputes and navigate competing stakeholder interests.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Robust business acumen with a solid understanding of commercial credit and collections practices.
• Outstanding attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Experience in collecting accounts with balances exceeding $25,000, $50,000, and $100,000+.
• Familiarity with Salesforce.
• Background in reviewing financial statements and business credit reports.
• Experience collaborating with attorneys, handling bankruptcies, and making commercial litigation referrals.
• Candidates must reside and work within the United States.
